Happy Thanksgiving. We hope you all had as much to be thankful for as we
did. Count your blessings. We had a perfect evening for our Thanksgiving Cruise.
When we arrived at Old-Town the streets were busy with many happy
tourists. The cruisers were slow coming in but by 5 o'clock they were filling up
the street waiting to get to their favorite parking spot. By the time it was
ready to cruise we had 134 beautiful cruisers. We welcome the first time
cruisers. It was good to see Ken Keel back with his 1976 International truck. He
had been very sick and in the hospital for awhile. He brought out his visiting
company from Indiana with him tonight. He got lucky and won a gift certificate
back stage.
Stan and Maryann had won a gift certificate for a pizza at Flippers so we tagged
along with them. Annette was very good to us tonight. Doug joined us later for
his pizza. George and Ursula also ate with us. Several other cruisers came in to
eat. They were very busy as usual.
Old-Town is looking a lot like Christmas these days. They have a lot of
decorations up and more to come. It will be beautiful when it is all done. Come
on out and enjoy the Holiday Season with all the cruisers. Tonight Joe and
Richard gave out the jackets to all the Friday Night Cruisers of the Month. We
were very lucky to be the first. Then Andy, Ed, Gerald and Bobby. They were all
on stage and tried their jackets on to see if they fit. All of them did. These
are quality jackets and very nice. We want to thank Old-Town for all they do for
the Cruisers.
Our 50/50 was $61.00 tonight and it went to Mr. Lucky, (Gerald). Our
Cruise-O-Matic will move to $100.00 next week.
See you all next week.
