It was a cool November night with a chilly wind blowing
which brought out those jackets that have been hanging in our closets for
awhile. Never the less, 139 cruisers were out to show their beautiful cruisers.
Our Thunderbird was back off the sick list and ready to roll again. The Trux
Plus gang were back with us tonight after a week off. We miss any of the
cruisers when they are not with us. The Corolla Club Of Central Florida came
back to cruise with us tonight. We did not talk to their leader, Asian Rick, but
they had quite a few members with them. Also there sister club, Import Legends,
were out with a good many members of their own. They took a group picture
on the bleachers to remember their visit to Old-Town. It was a good night for
Corollas. Hope they enjoyed their cruise with us. It was good to see Dave Skord
back with his Mercury, it was also on the sick list last week. These classics do
have their problems from time to time, but we love them and think it is all
worth while. Dave and Bev are heading North for two weeks. We hope they have a
safe journey and no snow. Richard had his beautiful Monte Carlo back after some
down time. It was good to see Becky and Doug with him tonight.
Jim and Rita, from Clermont brought out their 77 Chevy to cruise with us
tonight. They are regular Saturday Night Cruisers but they decided to try our
Friday Night Cruise. Hope they enjoyed it enough to come back more often.
Our friend Bert, was out on the golf course today, he played 9 holes which we
think was very good for his first time out since his health problems. Way to go
Bert, your doing fine.
The Repeatles were on stage tonight for our entertainment.
Our 50/50 of $58.00 was taken home by Pat, one of Old-Town's dancers. Have
a good time with it. Joe pulled 5 numbers but no takers for the Cruise-O-Matic.
Next week it
will go up to $75.00. Keep warm. See you all next week.
