The Friday Nite Cruise
At Old Town
West Highway 192
Kissimmee, Florida

November 10th

We arrived at Old Town at our usual time on this beautiful November day. Ralph & Shirley got there about the same time. The cruisers were a little slow coming in but by 5 o'clock we had a full line. We headed for the steak house on the corner again and we were joined by Stan & Maryann, Bobby Holder "Cruiser of the Month" and Doug Kendall came in shortly afterwards to dine with us. After lunch we went out to check the cruisers and see how many we had. We want to thank Bob Butler for bringing our Cruise-in papers from St. Cloud. James' Toyota was back with us tonight but his father was driving it. James is still in Houston. Debbie also was out with her cruiser and Samantha was out with her Scion. Ray Kissel and Stephanie were out with their Honda and good news, they told us they were engaged but no wedding date set as we know of. We want to congratulate them. Good luck and God Bless. CJ and Candy haven't been out for awhile but they chose to cruise with us tonight. Also Ike and Nancy were back with us again. Good to see them.  Bob and Fran came out with their son's blue and white 1977 Volkswagen Van. This car has only 39,000 miles on the speedometer. It is powered by a 4 cylinder 2000 cc motor with fuel injection, 4 speed stick shift and factory air conditioning. They are the second owners of this very nice vehicle. Bob and Fran are both Friday and Saturday night cruisers. We wish they could come out more often. Work does interfere with our pleasures. Michael Quick, from Orlando showed his 2005 Lotus Elise. He did not cruise with us tonight but the little car commanded a lot of attention. He was very proud of it and thanks for bringing it out for us to enjoy.

We had 129 beautiful cruisers to run the brick streets of Old Town. Another safe cruise, thanks to our hard working staff. "Eddie and the Cruizers" were entertaining on stage tonight. This is one of the Friday Night favorite bands. Only two cruisers claimed their flags tonight. Our 50/50 of $61.00 went to one of our Friday night dancers. The Cruise-O- Matic stands at $25.00. Old Town is starting to look a lot like Christmas. The crew has been busy trying to get it all done by Thanksgiving. They have a good start on the big tree and quite a bit of the trimming is up. Scotty, one of the crew, is always around with his pleasant smile and to help out where ever he can. He is an asset to Old-Town. Thank you Scotty.

Once again we want to thank Old-Town and all the merchants who sponsor our cruise. We do appreciate all you do for the cruisers.

See you all next week.
