We managed to get to Old-Town about the same time even though we
had a yard sale. Wolfman was already there so he could get his favorite place
down around Sun On The Beach. We got our usual spot on the corner of the A & W.
The Dukes were not out tonight. We heard they were singing across the street.
Sure missed them. Snafu was on stage. It was a beautiful night for the 126
cruisers that came out to enjoy another Friday night Cruise. Most of the
regulars were out. Ursula & George were out but they were not cruising. They had
their motorcycles. We all split up and ate at different places. We personally
chose Flippers and got our favorite server Annette. She is always jolly and is
good to us. It was good to see Ken and Wanda out with their pace car. They have
not been out for awhile. Joe Ness brought out his 1988 Ford Ranger. His Mom &
Dad who are from Pittsburgh were out to enjoy what Old-Town has to offer. We
were talking to Josh Jack, from Titusville, he has a blue 1977 Chevy G
20-------383 Stroker. It has an automatic transmission. Everything is manual on
it. No radio and no air. It is good to see more of the older models out. The
Cruise-a-Matic still stands at $1,000 just waiting for some lucky cruiser to win
it. There were several buses out tonight but there did not seems to be as many
spectators as usual. Never the less we had another beautiful night for a cruise.
If you have not been coming out, try it, you will like it. See
you all next week.
