The Friday Nite Cruise
At Old Town
West Highway 192
Kissimmee, Florida

May 19th

What a beautiful night for a cruise. The weatherman was very good for the 95 cruisers that brought their beautiful cars out tonight. Block four had most of the regulars but we have been missing Don and Amaryllis for several weeks.

Don, where are you? We miss you. Stan and Mary Ann was out with their pacer. They are going to Hawaii for 2 weeks and leaving Wednesday. We hope you have a happy and safe trip. We will miss your smiling faces while you are on vacation. Joe was out with his ford Ranger and he added some more lights to it. His mother and dad were out again. They are staying one more week with us and then back to Pa. Once we were parked on the brick street at 5 o'clock, our gang decided to eat at that big steak house on the corner (Burger King).

Doug came out with the other Friday Night Thunderbird :The Yellow One", but he did not cruise it tonight. Worked late and did not have time to clean it up. George and Ursula were out also but did not bring their cruiser. They were riding their Harleys and their son George was with them. We sure miss them when they don't cruise. Gerald came in on block 4 a little earlier than usual. I -- 4 traffic must not have been as heavy as usual. It was good to see Greg Jones out tonight. He has not been out for a few weeks. His wife Rhonda fell and injured her arm. It's coming along ok but is is going to take time to heal.
Good luck Rhonda. Don and Jackie Peters brought their 1987 burgundy Mercedes out. First time for this car. He is always trading cars. He is our bluegrass banjo player and he sure likes to joke around.
Jackie's Mom is going to be 100 in January. she lives in Leighigh Valley, Pa. She is very spry for her age. Happy Birthday Mom. The 3 D band was on stage tonight for our listening pleasure. No dukes on the corner tonight. It was good to see Gregg, Emma, Wanda, and Ken out. We missed you the last few weeks. Our cruise-a-matic still stands at $1,000. Maybe next week....... We'll see you then
