On this last day of March, it was another beautiful day for
a cruise. A lot of spectators and 116 cruisers showed up.
There were several buses and we even had a band from South
Dakota to lead the parade. Craig and Jim, the Dukes, were on the A & W
corner singing. Angel was there and sang a few songs with them.
Meanwhile, the T-Birds, were entertaining on stage. They are one of the
favorites. We also had a wedding performed there at 7:30. We did not
stay to see the wedding but they had a nice setup. We wish them the best
of luck.
The usual crowd was up on block 4. Tom is back regular with
us since his leg surgery. We had our regular space across from A & W.
Our gang went to Fred's Sport Grill (Formerly Damon's) to eat. The food
is great and they give you plenty of it. If you haven't tried it, do it.
Some of our regular cruisers were not out. Had other commitments.
Haven't seen Don Johnson for awhile either. Sure miss him.
Greg and Rhonda brought their Gremlin and their 78 AMC
Concord out tonight. The Concord broke a water hose but we loaned him a
knife and screw driver and with a little ingenuity, he patched it up,
good enough to cruise. Good luck on the way home. Seth Glassman, who
just moved down from New York, was out with his 1976 green Triumph, TR6,
6 cylinder. He had it for 6 years. Been cruising a few weeks. Welcome
Seth. That is all for this cruise, see you all next month.
