Another Friday has come and gone. The sky had a lot of clouds
but no rain, which made it nice for a cruise. We had 98 cars and it
seemed to get warmer as the night came on. A lot of spectators and
Where's Rooben was on stage. Clint and Burt were celebrating their
birthdays. The Dukes, Jim and Craig, along with Angel were singing on
the A & W corner.
John Bundy, from St. Cloud, brought his 1986 Samurai JX. It is
a quaint vehicle, and made from two Suzukis. It has tandem back wheels
and is a four wheel drive. It gets 24 miles to a gallon and that's not
bad. He has been cruising it around
6 years.
We also had some cruiser friends with us tonight, that moved to Georgia
after the hurricanes last year. Tom and Linda Spinello, who run the
Poinciana Prowlers, (which is still intact and has 2 new sponsors.) Tom
is recovering from surgery.
He had the left carotid artery in his neck replaced by an artery from
his leg. When this mends enough he has to get the right one cleaned out.
He's looking good and we hope him the best. Good to see you back Tom and
Linda.
James 1997 Toyota Corolla will be out another week or so. Somebody, on a
dare, keyed it from front to back, on driver side.
Wolfman will be out next week and Bill Hunter will be out for a month, due
to other commitments. We will miss you both.
Until next time, Happy Cruising!

How I See It
Hello Everyone; This is going to be a short report due to
we had company in from up north and I was entertaining rather than
compiling information for this report. Sorry in advance.
To follow up on an item I reported on last week, Tags With Class is
still supporting our cruise with their sponsorship. Thanks Dennis and I
am sorry about any confusion.
For some sober news, Clint Olson has suffered a heart attack on Sunday
night. I am not sure how serious it is but it is not a first for Clint.
Clint has had bypass surgery in the past. Please keep Lynn and Clint in
your thoughts and prayers.
Friday evening was a picture perfect night. The sky was clear and the
temperature was perfect. We had a total of ninety eight cruisers that
attended the event. We again had a total of four checker flag winners.
The winners were Travis Toth with a black 1990 Pontiac Firebird Formula
t-top coupe. It was equipped with hood scoops, chrome wheels and a boom
box stereo.
The second flag went to Dean Stires with his black and gray 1996 Ford
Mustang SVO. It had aftermarket tail lights, a rear wing, side pipes,
hood and wheels.
The third flag went to Brian Cowart with a stock white 1977 Pontiac Gran
Prix. Brian’s car has a red vinyl interior.
The fourth flag went to Corey Nawton with a candy apple red 1983
Chevrolet El Camino. This car has a flip down and open nose that reveals
a blown big block and lots of goodies under the hood. This is a great
little truck.
Well until next week cruise safely and have fun.

On to the flag winners
Tonight's
random drawing winners that and received the coveted "Old Town Checkered Flag"
along with $25 cash, a case of Valvoline 20W50 Racing Oil and a drink from the
Tropical Breeze.
Congratulations to the Checkered Flag Winners!
