The Friday Nite Cruise
At Old Town
West Highway 192
Kissimmee, Florida

June 2nd

Well the weatherman was good to us again tonight. We had a beautiful night for a cruise and with only a few drops of rain back stage. We arrived at our usual time and by 5:00 o'clock we had a full row waiting to get on the brick street of Old-Town. We understand this will be the last week we can park on the bricks before the cruise, but we will wait until next week and see what happens. Next week June 9 will be our anniversary cruise and things will be a little confused but after that we will get our cruise under control and on to a bright future. Thanks to all our staff, you are all doing a good job.

C J Skyline and Candi were back with their red 1984 Corvette. They were away from us for awhile, making use of their time share and enjoying some time off. We are glad to see them back. Hope to see more of them. Mary Ann and Stan are still in Hawaii. They should be back for the anniversary cruise. We got our regular spot on the A & W corner and the Dukes were out to entertain us tonight and the rain held off until after the cruise. Joe Ness came in late, he had classes at college to attend and after all that does come first. Wolfman came back after being two weeks away. We are glad he could join the 111 cruisers we had tonight.

On the darker side, we learned that our good friend and yours, Bert Brown went in the hospital today. He has been ailing for two weeks. We don't have any details, as of now, but we sure hope he has a speedy recovery. Best of luck Burt and Laverne. We will be praying for you.

Allen and Barbara Doeringer came out with their Red 1973 Stingray. They make their home in Davenport and have owned this particular car since November. We hope we will see you out more often. We need more older cars. This car just missed the Saturday Night Cruise. It was good seeing Joe back out again tonight. Looking good Joe, keep it up. The Saturday night cruisers were gathering for their anniversary cruise tomorrow night. We saw several of them walking the street of Old-Town. Cube Was on stage.

They were a lively bunch. Our Cruise-O-Matic still stands at $1,000. We like the new Friday Night shirts, (could it be, that they have a Thunderbird, like ours on the back?) We will see you all at our anniversary cruise and so long Mike.
