The Friday Nite Cruise
At Old Town
West Highway 192
Kissimmee, Florida

July 14th

Warm night, no rain, a beautiful night for a cruise. We had a 136 fine cruisers who came out to Old-Town to take advantage of the good weather. We also had a good number of spectators tonight.
They all seem to enjoy the many various cars that we have on any given Friday night. After we got parked on the brick street at 5 o'clock our little group wandered over to Flippers for a few pizzas.

Several of our cruiser friends were already there. Our favorite server (Annette) had to work in the kitchen tonight, however we had very good service from Jane, our other friendly server. Thank you both. We wondered out to find some new cruisers. Ryan Fontaine from Titusville, came out with his latest cruiser. This black beauty is a 1974 caddy with only 84,000 original miles. He has had this Coupe de Ville about 7 weeks now and he has done some good work on it. He is not new to Old Town, he usually comes out with his regular car which is a gray 1989 Cadillac. This is a daily use car.

Dave Garceau was back with us tonight. His wife Beverly was back from up North visiting her parents and came out with Dave, it was good to see them both at a cruise together. Hope your feeling better Dave. Mr. Pontiac came in late and did not get on block 4 tonight. He also did not win the 50/50. Better luck next time Gerald. Another regular on block four (Tom with the little green truck) is in the hospital. As of this writing, we have no official report on him. We hope and pray all goes well with him.

We talked to Laverne and Bert's brother, they said that Bert was coming home Saturday the 15th and that he was coming out to Old-Town for the cruise. Hope you make it Bert. Will see you there.

The 3-D Band was on stage. No Dukes tonight but we was assured they will play at Fred's Sports Grill anytime they can make it to Old-Town. Come down and listen to them, it is well worth the time. Joe tried very hard tonight to give away the Cruise- O- Matic but it still stands at $1,000. Waiting for some lucky cruiser.

Hope to see you all next week.
