We arrived at our regular time for our last Friday Night Cruise of 2006. Buzz
was anxious to get this cruise in as he was waiting for us. The weather was
beautiful but it did not last long. Around 4:45 it started to rain and didn't
stop until cruise time. It kept the 107 cruisers busy wiping their vehicles off.
I know Bob Butler wiped his 4 times.
James was back from school in Houston for the Christmas holiday. His mom and dad
also came out to cruise. Also Samantha with her Scion. She has added more
graphics to her vehicle. James has to fly back to Houston on Monday. It was sure
nice to have all them cruise with us tonight.
Bobby Holder, (cruiser of the month for November), bought his wife Arlene a
cruiser jacket which he picked up tonight. We also bought Doris a matching "Cruiser
of the Month"
jacket, so, the two of us would have matching jackets.
We all do thank Old-Town for their generosity. This was Doug and Trisha's last
night for cruiser of the month so he was awarded his jacket tonight. Doug
Kendall was having problems with his T-Bird. One of the cruisers is going to
work on it tomorrow. We cruisers have got to help each other with our toys. Tom
Coupe and his wife were out visiting again. His truck is still on the sick list.
We had another first timer tonight. Wilfiedo Ravera from Sebring brought out his
1981 Mercedes. We hope it won't be his last time out.
Mr. Pontiac, whom we call (Mr. Lucky), won another flag tonight. He has been
cruising for 8 years and has won 49 flags. He also won a gift certificate. Our
Cruise-O-Matic goes to $50.00 next week. No winner tonight. The 50/50 was $78.00
and went to a spectator.
See you all next week.
