Merry Christmas to all our readers. Our Christmas cruise started with some
beautiful weather but got a little damp as the night wore on. We arrived a
little early and were followed by Buzz & Sue, Stan and the rest of the early
birds. Some of the cruisers were decked out for Christmas. After 5 O'clock we
were all parked in our spot so what next? We headed for the steak house on the
corner. We were joined by Stan and Maryann, Bobby, and Dave. Doug stopped by but
he had to have a pizza tonight. As we left Burger King it started to rain.
Between 6 and 8 we had some pretty heavy showers. Our Santa Clause that we had
on the front of our car got all wet but he will be alright when he dries out. A
few of our cruisers left early on account of the rain but we still had a total
of 76 cars that registered for the cruise.
Old Town treated us with hot chocolate, coffee and plenty of delicious cookies.
We thank them all for their generosity. It looks like Tom Coupe's truck will be
out for awhile. It seems like it needs some work done on the rear end. Don and
Jackie showed up with another vehicle. This one is a red 1976 Corvette. Joe Ness
added a few more lights to his truck. George Pennachi who is a Friday and
Saturday night cruiser is having his foot operated on the 29th. Keep him in your
prayers. "Eddie and the Cruzers" were entertaining tonight. Good band but the
spectators were very few.
Joe gave our Cruise-O-Matic away tonight. They pulled 11 numbers and we
got a winner. Roberto Guzman went home $175.00 richer. Next week it goes back to
$25.00. The 50/50 of $50.00 went to Peter Testa.
See you all next week.
