We had a cloud covered day but no rain to dampen our Friday Night Cruise. We
were the first to arrive at our regular time. A Few minutes later C J and Candi
arrived with their Gray Pontiac Trans AM. Stan arrived with his Pacer, then Dave
followed and the rest of the early birds wandered in. Tom with his Mustang
parked in Wolfman's spot. His wife Sandy came out to spend some time with the
cruisers. We hope she comes back to see us again. Gerald, (Mr. Lucky) wandered
in later. He did not make it last week because his Pontiac was under the
weather. Tom's little green truck was sick and did not make it to block 4
tonight. Ike and Nancy were out visiting us tonight. They usually come out with
there red corvette but the brakes were not working. We do have problems with our
classics but we do love them.
Bert's Mom and his sister and her husband were out tonight. They
only had a week to visit and are leaving Sunday. It was good seeing them again.
We hope they have a safe trip home.
"Where's Rooben" was supposed to be on stage tonight but they could
not make it. They were replaced by the Earth Beat Band. We thought they were a
very good band. The ones we talked to, also said they were good. We hope to see
them back again.
The spectator crowd was down a bit but we had 93 cruisers for
them to enjoy. Our Cruise-O-Matic will be $175.00 next week. Joe tried five
times but could not give it away. Andy, one of our cruisers won the 50/50 which
was $51.00.Spend it wisely Andy. See you all next week.
