The Friday Nite Cruise
At Old Town
West Highway 192
Kissimmee, Florida

August 25th

Somebody up there must like the Friday Night Cruise, we were favored with another beautiful evening for our get together tonight. The rains held off and the temperature cooled off just right for a comfortable cruise. The regular early birds were in line by 5 o'clock. CJ and Candy were back after some time off. They had their Red Vette tonight. It was good to have them cruise with us again. Stan and Mary Ann had their granddaughter from Auburndale with them tonight. She must of brought them some luck because Stan won a flag tonight. First one in awhile. She also talked our group into going to Flippers for pizza. (Probably we would go their anyways.) George Pennachi was out with his GMC Yukon tonight. It is loaded including a DVD witch George played a little too long and ran his battery down. Old-Town came to the rescue with a jumper and got him started again. After a half hour running all is well again. Don't do that again George. Ken Keel was out again with his International truck. We hope he becomes a regular Friday Night Cruiser. His father who is 90 years young was not with him tonight but we are sure he will be back because he seemed to enjoy the old cars last week. We missed a few regulars on block four. Either the weather forecast or other commitments kept them away. We also met a couple of friends that we haven't seen for awhile, Cookie and Candy our two friendly clowns that made balloons on the corner, came out to visit tonight. They were off duty and Candy even had a pin that read, (Clown Off Duty.) It was good to see and visit with them again. We sure miss seeing them at Old-Town. Ed walked off with the 50/50 tonight. He is $31.00 richer and also the Cruiser of the Month for September. Congratulations Ed on both accounts. Also, we want to acknowledge that Andy was our Cruiser of the Month for August with his beautiful Cadillac. Good job Andy. We had 86 cruisers tonight for another safe cruise.

Thanks to our staff who works hard to keep it that way. Where's Roobin was on stage tonight for our entertainment. Our cruise-o-matic still stands at $1,000.(How long can it last?) See you all next week. tic away. They pulled 10 numbers again. No takers tonight.

See you all next week! __Bill & Doris
