The Friday Nite Cruise
At Old Town
West Highway 192
Kissimmee, Florida

August 18th

This Friday was a hot and sticky day for a cruise however our 103 cruisers had another safe and successful cruise around Old-Town. Thanks to our hard working staff. We arrived at showed up. By 5 o'clock we had our usual bunch of early birds. It looked as though we might get some rain but the weatherman spared us that. After we got parked in our regular spot our little group headed for Flippers for our Friday Night pizza. Our server Annette was back with us again tonight. Then we ended up at the stage to enjoy Eddy and the Cruisers who were playing on stage tonight. Bert and Laverne and all the regulars gathered around. We all got our first look at Bert's latest cruiser. This little gem is a 1995 Ford Probe. Bert has added wheel rims and charcoal flames on each side. He also added 3 skulls on the hood. He has a very nice cruiser and we are sure he wants to add even more to it. It is looking good Bert. Keep up the good work.

Ken Keel (a regular on Saturday night) from Haines City brought his 1976 International Scout 2 truck out to show us tonight. He found this truck in an orange grove where it had rested for 14 years. He is doing the remodeling himself so it will take sometime before he gets it where he wants it. It is looking good but there is still a lot to do. Ken also had his father with him tonight. He is looking well and loves to look at the old cars.

Mr. Pontiac (Gerald) took our 50/50 home again tonight. He is $51 richer. Maybe Mr. Lucky is a better name for him. He is heading for Kentucky for 2 weeks. He was under the weather tonight but we hope he gets feeling better before he gets on his way. Have a good trip Gerald. Our friend Tom who parks on block 4 , also got lucky tonight and took home a checkered flag. Congratulations Tom. Our cruising friends Tom and Linda Spinello from Georgia spent the week or so around here We enjoyed having them cruise with us again and they are heading home Monday. Safe trip you all. We are still trying to give our Cruise-O-Matic away. They pulled 10 numbers again. No takers tonight.

See you all next week! __Bill & Doris
