The Friday Nite Cruise
At Old Town
West Highway 192
Kissimmee, Florida

April 28th

We arrived at Old-Town at our usual time. Wolfman was already there. We had a good line of cars by 5 o’clock when they let us in on the street of Old-Town. We learned from Wolfman that someone last Friday, between 8:30 and 9:00 took his 2 magnets which read: (Eye Balls don’t leave finger prints). He paid $20.00 a piece for them and was a little upset about it. This story has a happy ending because someone today returned them to him. The man said, “You don’t know me but I know you. Don’t ask no questions and it has been taken care of.” He thanked him.

Mary Ann got to come out with Stan – work keeps her from coming all the time. Ike and his wife Nancy got to come out. They have a piece of property in Eustis and they spend some of their time out there working on it. Block 4 was pretty well filled up with the regulars. Richard was proud to show his license plate holder for the front of his Monte Carlo. It is neon and starts at the top and runs around to the bottom, then starts over. It is a very neat little gadget. We may look into one for our T-Bird.

Frank Pastrama from Disney Village cane out to cruise with us with his Red MG. This little car has a 1953 body on a 1973 Volkswagen frame and motor. Frank has several older cars. He has had this little convertible for one year and this is his first time at Old-Town with it, we hope to see it more in the future.

Samantha, one of our Friday Night Cruisers with her Toyota Scion will probably be staying in Florida after she finishes her schooling in October. She is attending Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School. She loves cooking and hopes to become a chef and maybe open her own catering business.
We were entertained by the T-Birds on stage and The Dukes on the A&W corner on this beautiful cool evening. We had 103 cruisers who came out to enjoy all Old-Town has to offer.

Our Cruise-a-Matic is still at $1,000, waiting for some lucky cruiser. We welcome Sock Exchange for helping sponsor our cruisers. Also NAPA Auto Parts we thank you. This is all for tonight. See you all later.
