We cruised into Old Town early today and some OLD friends from the
Leather Shop met us for lunch and we decided on Fred’s Sport Grill. Good
food as usual and good company. After lunch we had only 2 other cruisers
in line, Wolfman and Stan. After 5 we checked out the early arrivals. We
talked to Mike Langan, cruised down from Ovideo with his 1979 Gold Trans
Am. Mike has been cruising for 3 years, but this is his first time with
this car. This Little Beauty is powered by an 8 cylinder 403 engine and
is in very good shape. It also has a beautiful emblem of an eagle on the
hood. Mike has assured us that he well be back for more Friday Night
Cruises. Thanks for coming out Mike.
George and Ursula showed up with their Yellow Aveo Chevy (Bahama Mama).
They haven’t been with us much lately. Gerald (Mr. Pontiac) cruised out
early. No work today. Five cars from the Internal Vibration Club were
out, making a grand total of 121 cars on a beautiful Friday Night.
Cube (a new Band at Old Town) were on stage playing and 2
Dukes were on the corner by A&W. We hope you all have a Happy Easter.
