"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

October 5th

Tonight was the night for the first ever "Mustang Mike" Cruiser of the Month award. It sure was beautiful out, a bit of Fall in the air. There were some dark clouds around and a bit of a drizzle when Linda & I headed for the Sonic. These clouds always seem to effect the turn out. "Big John" was out in the Greenbrier. Dan & Liz were out in the "Mean Green", Ron brought out his Packard. Ron Hood had his model A, the Dr. cleared him to drive so they leave for the "Cabin" in Georgia for 3 weeks. Hello and Good Bye!

All of the regulars that I mention in these reports were out, including Tony & Marianne, they are headed to New Hampshire for a while tomorrow. Safe trip to them and all of the other travelers.

"Hot Rod Row" was very populated tonight, the "Scott Rod", Russ' "Wild Thing", Jimmy's Tudor. Mike's roadster to name a few. Paul, Tommy and Bill were across and next to them. All of the 3 Stooges were lined next to each other. Steve Mc is in North Carolina with his "Real Steel" '27 T.

Mike announced the "Spook-O-Ween Cruise" that we will be having on the 26th of the month, Dress up and or your car. Awards will be given. Fran Piazza will head up the Bake Sale, please contact her if you would like to bring in things so we will have lots of Goodies next to the trailer.

As I had mentioned earlier, the "Cruiser of the Month" is now sponsored by "Mustang Mike" and the October 2006 Plaque and Hat went to Louie Piazza Cruiser #452 and his '52 Ford.

Ashley and Shelby were the helpers in the trailer as well as Bob. The girls were once again the "Special Pickers' for the drawings.

There were 65 cars out tonight so the 50/50 was $86. Well as luck would have it, Linda won tonight! 2 nights in a row. Well, it was donated back to the newsletter. Charlie and many others made sure that Linda knew that I accepted donations to the newsletter.

Dick & Marie Wickham would have won the $50 "Cruise-A-Matic" if they would have been out tonight. Awwww. So next week it rolls to $75.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home in John Bundy's, Cruiser #38, '86 Tag Axel Suzuki Samurai.

Here are a few photos.
