"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

October 19th

50% Chance of rain, and still 2 lights out, it seems like we should have had more cars out tonight. Looking at last year it is about the same.

Trevor brought out his '84 Yellow Vette that he had in New Jersey. Well, that is Bill & Virginia had to drive him. They are glad to be back in Florida. The Usual suspects were out tonight. Ralph & Shirley were out early. Big John had the Yellow Mustang out. Bob was in the '49 Pickup, he remembered it was Thursday! Hot Rod Row was full of those Street Rods we all like to see. Chuck & Cindy had their T-Bucket parked near Steve's T Roadster. Dennis & Francine sat with the gang in front of the trailer.

It was one of those nights that looked as though it might rain, there were stories about little showers all around us. None stopped to visit us at the Cruise-In. Big Jim came after the Sun went down in the Pro Street Beretta. Bob moved the Chevelle, that is almost ready to debut, out of the way and brought out the Camaro. Ron had his Caddy parked up next to the trailer. It should be coming out with it's new wheels very soon. DeSotoVille made it a little earlier, Doug was out for the first time in weeks, recuperating from recent surgery. Two new Cruisers joined in with  Wayne & Denise, who had been out before with their Vette, signed up tonight as did Jim & Leslie with their Camaro. Welcome. Tony & Sharon had "Lucy" displayed by the trailer in her spot of honor. Tony has quite a list of Cruisers heading up to Clermont on the 5th for the 7th Annual Veterans Celebration.

It was a great night with good friends. The $100 Cruise-A-Matic" would have gone home with Clarence Elder, Cruiser # 291 but they are not down for the winter yet. Next week we have $125 in the offering. The $80 50/50 was taken home by Jim Rouse, Cruiser #97, but not until he donated $15 to the Newsletter. Thank You. "Cruiser of the Week" went home in Tony & Marianne's '71 Monte SS. Thanks to them Sonny's is back on board with the door prize of a Free Dinner for 2.

Here are a few photos.
