This was one of those "Post Card" days again! What a day
for a "Cruise-In". More than 120 cars rolled into the parking Lot next
to the Sonic. Linda & I arrived just a little after 4:30, Trevor & Bill
came on the Motorcycle and Bill's son. Bill drove the Dodge, he and a
couple of friends, Ted & Homer, came down from New Jersey to take in a
game at the Astro's Stadium.
Several more "Snowbirds" were spotted, several from
Michigan and a few from Ohio with Crosleys. Ron & Shirley Hood made it
out with the Model A. Steve Mc & Cheryl came out in the "All Steel 27",
so the rumor that she was buried in the backyard was false. Ed & Sarah,
still looking for just the right car, brought out "Spark Plug" to visit
with his friends.
"Spring Fling" is coming up April 1st at Saint Cloud's new
Lakefront. Mike will have more details next week. Ashley and Shelby,
representing "Fancy Feet", danced their hearts out for us on "Center
Stage". Lots of families out tonight, always good to see. Jake, an 11
month old Cruiser loved watching the dancers. Clyde brought out the
whole family and the '66 LeMans that we have not seen much lately,
Welcome back. Floyd & Betty Hall brought out their '61 Impala
convertible, it has been a long illness that has kept them away.
The Trivia question was once again taken home by Ron
Adamson, so he took home the $10 Beef O'Bradys" gift certificate.
The 50/50 of $135 was won by another Hall, he donated $20
to the Newsletter, Thank You.
The "Cruise-A-Matic" of $100 would have been taken home by
# 294, Gary Coughlin, that is if he would have come out. Awwwww, Next
week it rolls to $125.
This weeks "Cruiser of the Week" was taken home by John &
Sandy Foster with their '59 Pearl T-Bird.
