"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

March 23rd

After the weatherman promised us RAIN, more than a 70% chance I thought we might have to have our first Cruise-In called because of rain. Well, this did not stop most of the "Die Hards" from coming out. Paul brought out his '02 instead of his '58 but the important thing, he came out. Tommy said good-bye to his '56 Belvedere tonight, Ellis took possession of it and next week it will be going up to Owensboro Kentucky to Cruise with with the club up there. John and Sandy did, in fact, buy the Pontiac they were looking at last Saturday Nite. Wonder if we will see it next year? I am sure John will have several others bought and sold before then.

Gary & Wanda brought out "Remember When" their Black, flamed '55 Chevy. It was a great looking car before the new paint, now it is, well I guess WOW would cover it. Wanda, thanks for spending your birthday with us. Mr. Ford, I mean Larry Vliet brought out a '48 Chevy, this made Roger says that Larry has been in the closet to long, he just couldn't be a CHEVY man. The Clarke's had their Yellow Caddy out. Nicky Bop had his '55 Chevy, Trevor was in his chair in front of Bill & Virginia's 29 Mercedes. Tony & Marianne had the "Monte" parked in the Cruiser of the week spot and kept Nicky Bop under control, I am so glad you guys are back. Tonight we didn't even see the "Wookie". Bob Berube had his Camaro in it's regular spot, looked so lonely with out the others that usually take the spots next to him. The Corvette Club did come out tonight but the numbers we real low, threat of rain keeps a lot of them away. Phillip and Frances came a little later, he has almost as many excuses as the Wookie when it comes to the question. "Where's the Cruiser?" main thing is, they did come out. John and Inna brought the 58 Berkley to the Thursday Nite Cruise-In for the first time. We hope to see them more often.

John B stopped by for a while, he requested a bunch of songs that "mustang Mike" was the lead guitarist on. Always good to see him on a Thursday.

"Ben and Willard" better known as Ron and Bob had the Corvair and the 36 Ford Humpback parked next to each other. They also sufficiently harassed "Mustang Mike" during the drawings. Dar, Bob's wife even helped them out a bit as well.

With only 30 or so cars the 50/50 still grew to $72. Tony DeGennaro had the lucky ticket. Ron Adamson had the correct answer to the Trivia Question , again. So he won the $10 Beef O'Bradys" gift certificate. Next week the first correct answer given to me between 7:00 and 7:30 will be the winner. I guess per Cruiser.

The $150 "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $175 next week, Don Lasecki, Cruiser # 22 was not out tonight.

Here are a few photos...
