"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

June 15th

It was HOT. The weatherman even called for rain, the "Sea Breeze" variety. None if it made it to our Cruise-In but it did all around us. Linda and I arrived at the Parking lot near the "Sonic" just a bit past 4:00. Bob was the next to arrive in his SSR. Then Paul came in in his DeSoto. It looked as though it was going to be a small cruise-in.

Steve Mc was still on the road on his trip back from Delivering a car for Dan. Bob was out but he has started the "Tear Down" on his '36 Humpback Ford. The Summer heat will cause our Crusie-In's to be a little smaller now. Our "Die Hards" will be out regardless. Even if the afternoon showers are at your house, "Mustang Mike" or I will be around until 6:00PM in the rain. We might be setting under the canopy at the Sonic. Nicky "Bop" was out with Rocco, "Stay out of the Nines!" could be heard. all is well. Tony & Marianne, Louie, Philip and the "Wookie" were all in the front row. Ron and Don sat on the corner. DeSoto-ville was relocated this evening to the "Cruiser of the Week" spot and the other 2 on either side. Gordon celebrated his 87th Birthday this week. Cris and Stephanie came out in the Gran Torino, Larry was home putting a stereo in the latest car. Tony, our "Cruise Director" and this week "Federal Juror", & Sharon made it out to their delight. Tony was afraid that he would spend another day doing that duty.

We had a lot of spectators, but only 40 cars. None of the "Rat Pack" were out, it was probably  raining in their neighborhood. They haven't missed to many since they started to come out. Hope all is O.K.

"Duke" is doing better, eating and has been transferred to the "Palms Rehabilitation Center" room 402. Bert is doing a little better, but both have a bit of time before they will be back with us. Keep them in your prayers.

The 50/50 was $75, Ron Bozarth, Cruiser # 179, had the winning ticket, he donated $10 back to the Cruise and $5 to the paper. Thank you.

The $100 "Cruise-A-Matic" would have gone home with "Wax", Greg Bowers, Cruiser #250, if he would have come out.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with the "Wookie", Cruiser #529, and his '83 Mustang "Heart Breaker".

Here are a few photos
