Wally Yarwoood, Cruiser #633, from Upstate New York joined us again
tonight, with Ed & Cheryl Cruiser #567. He just got back to town last
night, good seeing you with us again. The Zibrin brothers graced our
presence. Louie and Linda in the "Tiki Wagon", Joe and Kay brought out
the Raspberry Vette and his sparkly Mustang.
Jack brought out this '74 "Levi" Gremlin, with a 360 in it! I hope we to
see more of his AMC collection that included a 401 Pacer. He parked
along 192 with Bob, Jim and Dan, regulars in Muscle Car Row.
"Doc" Watson, Cruiser#525, mentioned an Open House at Universal
Technical Institute on January 28th. Doc is the "Hot Rod"
instructor. It runs from 10:00am to 2:00PM. Please attend if you have
the time. More details to follow.
Dustin Roberts, Cruising grandson of John & Pat Hopkins got to spend his
birthday, today, setting by his, I mean, John's '67 Mercury. Good day
for a 12 year old that likes cars.
Jim & Craig, The "Dukes" were floating around visiting with us tonight,
they didn't sing however, Jim is still not feeling well. It is always
good to see them out anyway.
More than 90 cars came out, lots of spectators and plenty of Car talk with
new friends and old friends. I would like to mention them all,
eventually I will. No on to the winners for tonight.
Shirley Crawford had the correct answer to the Trivia Question so she went
home with the $10 Beef O'Bradys" gift certificate. Philip Piazza had the
winning ticket for the $140, 50/50, he donated $10 back to next weeks
prize booty and $5 to the newsletter. Thank You.
Cruiser #229, Paul Kemp, by not showing up, allowed the "Cruise-A-Matic"
to roll on up to $225 next week.
"Cruiser of the Week" was kept from me this week. I usually announce and
Duke presents it while Mike is still counting money. Mike made all of
the announcements, and was ready to start drawing numbers and then he
announced that this weeks Cruiser of the Week is always here, rain or
Shine, does a lot for the Cruise and is the Editor of the Newsletter,
Cruiser #16 Steve & Linda Butler with their '61 Corvair Coupe. You, the
audience seemed quite pleased with this and I thank you.
Don't forget to try and join us at FACACA this Sunday...
Here are a few photos.
