January 12th
Big John" brought out
his '69 Camaro Indy Pace car and Jodi brought John's '68 Shelby, now
that was worth the trip out to see, not counting the rest of the 78 cars
that made their way to the parking lot next to the Sonic in Saint Cloud.
Craig and Jim, better known as the "Dukes" stopped by for
a photo session, they didn't sing tonight as Jim was not feeling the
best.
Tony was busy along with Linda signing up participants for
the Florida Antique and Classic Automobile Cruisers Association's "Run
to Garlits" on the 22nd. They now have 23 confirmed cars that will be
making their way along the Turnpike on that Sunday Morning.
We had several new Cruisers sign up with us tonight, more
"Snowbirds" it is always fun to welcome them back each year once they
have signed up. Linda and visiting Granddaughter, Alexis delivered the
Newsletters to many Cruisers as they arrived, I was very grateful for
the help. This freed me up to visit with many arriving Cruisers and to
get that Photo Shoot done for the "Dukes".
Ed & Evelyn brought out Tom & Edna's '58 Buick instead of
their Corvair, Tom is still recuperating. At least we got to see his
car. It sure was a beautiful night for this event that happens here
every Thursday night, except of course the 3 nights later in the year
that we give the parking lot back to the Wal-Mart for the Holiday
Shopping Season.
Chris & Gary, our regular shoppers did a great job, once
again. Thank You!
Ron & Shirley Hood are headed back to the cabin in Georgia
next week so we won't be seeing the '53 Chevy or their Model A for a
while. Steve and Cheryl left today to visit Neil and Elaine, for 10 or
so day, over the pond in England.
With all of the cars in attendance, the 50/50 grew to $150!
Barbra Vliet had the winning ticket once again! Some people are sure
good at drawings...She donated $20 back to next weeks drawing and $5 to
the newsletter! Thank You.
Jody Glissen had the correct answer to the Trivia question,
so he went home with the $10 Beef O'Brady's" gift certificate.
The "Cruise-A-Matic" of $175 would have went home with Jack
Harrington, Cruiser # 723, that is if he would have come out tonight.
Awwwww. Next week $200 is in the offering.
Mike has the sign up sheets for the 6th annual "Cruise for
Kids" on March 11th, so stop in and get one if you are interested in
attending.
Here are a few photos I managed to get in before the Sun
went down.

Congratulations to the winners, See you at Old Town
Saturday Nite! then Wednesday at Magnolia Square, then right back here!
