"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

February 9th

More than 70 cars made their way to the Wal-Mart parking lot next to the Sonic for this our "Sweets, for your Sweet, Sale" for Valentines day Cruise-In. It was a bit chilly once the sun went down and most of the cars arrived after that. I didn't see any sign of the "Wookie" out tonight. Maybe this Flu thing got him finally. It was decided that the 50/50 would be cash again this week. Gary and Chris are recovering from that flu. So $121 work of cash will be raffled off in $20 - $15 - $10 and $5 prizes.

Tony & Sharon DeBlasio, who were celebrating their anniversary with us hosted the bake sake with lots of help from fellow Cruisers. Everyone out tonight were partaking in the "Sweets". The items that were not sold were given to Mustang Mike to take to the "Kids" at the "Osceola Children's Home and Youth Center". Tonight, thanks to the Cruisers, there was not a lot to give them. The sale grossed $163, that will be used to fund our next event in April. Good Job!

It was good seeing the lot with so many cars on it, some did leave a little early, we did. however shorten the night a little as the wind was very biting. So at 7:30, we started the drawings.

Al Wendling knew that it was 1981 that Bill Haley died at the age of 56. He went home with the $10 "Beef O'Bradys" gift certificate.

Joe Steven's took home the 50/50 of $91 he gave back $11 for next weeks prize booty.

"Lucky" Louie Piazza, who didn't make it out until almost 7:00 took home the $25 Cruise-A-Matic, so it starts over next week at $25.

"Cruiser of the Week" went to Jim & Shirley Crawford with their 1950 Willys Jeepster!

I didn't get very many photos tonight, I have included a few from the set up of the "Orlando "Hamcation(sm) and Computer Show", Me and Linda and a few other Cruisers are Amateur Radio, HAM, operators and have volunteered to assist Trevor the "Cruising Dog", Bill and Virginia Azar in the parking of the hundreds of RV's that come to this national event. We will be working with them over the next few days along with Steve Mc and Tony DeBlasio that are also HAMS.
