"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

August 17th

Tonight looked as though it was going to be called as a RAINOUT, Linda & I drove thru rain to get to the parking lot at the Wal-Mart next to the Sonic. I was called many times by Cruisers to see if it was going to be called. Well, the rain had stopped at the Cruise-In. Tom Spinello stopped in during this visit to Central Florida, he needed to update his Cruiser information. Several Cruisers stopped to get their newsletters. John, (KF4BFJ) friend and spectator joined Tony, Sharon Linda & me at the Sonic for something to eat while we waited for more Cruisers to come in. The order of many of the Cruisers arriving would only be a guess. Louie had his '52 parked in it's spot of honor in front of the trailer. Phillip had his Camaro out tonight. Steve, Charlie and Marie had the yellow Caddy in the front row. Bob, (Frick) was assisting "Mustang Mike", Ashley & Shelby in selling the 50/50 tickets. Bert & Ernie were showing off the Flames and Skulls on the Probe, just had them applied this afternoon. There were several Cruisers that didn't come out in Cruisers. This always makes for a bigger 50/50 when the car count is down.

Steve Mc headed for England today, he is going to do a little work on Neil's Jaguar, that is the one he Cruises in the U.K. Then him and Cheryl are going to spend a few weeks over there and look around a bit. Don, Robin and son Tom joined our Cruise-In tonight, they brought out their '69 340 powered Dodge Dart. Paul was pleased to see another Mopar. Even though Tommy didn't make it out tonight, mud road, he did participate in the 50/50 through Paul.

With less then 20 cars, Barbra Vliet had the winning ticket for the $97 that was in 50/50. She donated $7 to the newsletter and $10 back to next weeks cruise-in.

Ed Malloy, Cruiser #618, would have gone home with the $150 this week if he would have been out, hope that knee is healing.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home in "Cletus" with Tony & Marlene, Cruiser #747. Congratulations.

Here are a few Photos.
