"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

April 6th

I got a lesson in using the word "Perfect" from my esteemed colleagues. "Big john" has a badge from the AACA that says the 49 Pontiac is "Perfect". I stand corrected. I will try not to use that word any more. I will have to use other metaphors. Then again they are all relative anyway.

95 cars made it to the Cruise-In. The Crawford's were out for their last Cruise-In before heading back to PA. John is going to call us on the Thursday nite during the big Hershey Show.  Lots of Cruiser friends from Old Town joined in and registered with us tonight, Welcome!

"Mustang Mike" reminded us tonight that the cut off year for new registrations is 1980. There are many newer cars registered previously that have been "Grandfathered" or are "Legacy Cars" or second or third cars of Cruises with older cars registered. This was established because we are limited to the number of parking spaces allowed by city permit and the agreement with Wal-Mart. If you are not a registered Cruiser please do not take spaces that are for "Registered Cruisers". Park further over in the lot. Please do join in on the events, if you like. This is a Classic Car Cruise-In by design. Registered Cruisers please display your registration numbers on dash so they can be seen. With over 700 cars registered we would have a problem if we had a 100% night. Normally we will have a 12 to 15% show up on any one night. Old Town has and average of 3%.

We have 12 confirmed "Run to the River" participants for Saturday morning April 22nd to the 31st Indian River Classic Car Show. Let's tray and get a few more, in memory of Tom Staggs, lets have a big turn out.

The 50/50 of $110 was taken home by Henry Horn. He then donated $20 to this newsletter, Thank you. All of the other donations were greatly appreciated as well.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" of $200 rolls up to $225 next week, Cruiser #480, Tricia Shelton wasn't out tonight.

"Cruiser of the Week" went to Cruiser #126 Steve & Cheryl McCullough and their 1927 "Real Steel" Model T Street Rod.

Here are a few photos.
