April 13th
What a beautiful day for
a Cruise -In, more than 90 Cruisers thought so too. Dan brought out
"Mean Green" his latest "Tubbed out Econo-Car" for the first time to a
Central Florida Cruise. The
spectator crowd was quite large. All of the regulars came out. The
brother Piazza, Tony & Marianne, Nicky Bop, Roy, Ron, "Big John", Jim
and the Clarke's just to mention a few. Tony & Sharon, still waiting for
"Lucy" sat in their spot. Tony also reports that we have 17 cars to join
in on the "Run to the River". We might even make more than 20 if things
go right.
Even one of the most unusual 70's car was with us tonight,
A Pacer, it looked "Showroom Fresh". Several new cruisers joined us as
well. Welcome to the Oakes with a '66 Mustang, The Pyles with a 36 Ford
Cabriolet and the Juarbe's with a 69 Nova. Bert and Ernie made it back
very early this morning from the trip to Indians for his fathers
funeral.
Once again a great time with our "Cruising Family" these 90
plus cars made for a good display this evening in the Wal-Mart parking
lot, right next to the Sonic.
Phillip didn't win tonight's set of Flamingos but he did
have the winning ticket for the $125 50/50! he gave $20 back to the
prize booty and $5 to this newsletter.
The "Cruise-A-Matic" would have went home with Cruiser 107
Debbie Scott but she was not out tonight, So next week $250 is in the
offering.
"Cruiser of the Week" went to Cruiser #93, Mike & Gale
Murray and their 30 Ford Roadster.
Here are a few photos.
