There would have been 25 cars out tonight,
there were that many cruisers. The weather was fantastic! A bit of a
slow start. Paul was the second to arrive right after Linda & I. Big
John made it back with one of his Mustang Cobra's. Most of the regulars
that come out on a Wednesday Nite were here.
Tom rolled in in his 8 Door Greenbrier, he and Edna have
been out of town since June. Always
good seeing him and that Van at one of the Cruise-In's. Bob. brought out
his better half's new ride. His Camaro is still blocked in by the
Chevelle, both will make it to a Cruise-In very soon. The work is almost
done. Paul & Betty were in the Daily Driver, they were waiting for a
phone call to go and pickup Betty's Mustang, they never got that call...
So that was 2 cars that weren't with us.
Ron "Shiftless" Hood wasn't with us again, hard to change
the gears when the shifting arm is in a sling! His driver was Clogging
tonight, Oh well, he would have been $30 richer if he would have been
out, his number, 15, was drawn for the Cruise-A-Matic. The 50/50 of $37
went to the winning ticket holder, George Crofut. He donated $5 to the
newsletter.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home in a '61 Caddy Convert with Ron Adamson,
Cruiser #169.
Here are a few photos.
