This was the afternoon of the first Cold Front of
the season, lots of rain overnight but clear skies and puffy clouds at Cruise
time.
Paul came out first, the DeSoto is DeBroko
maybe a BrokeSoto, well, actually not broken just in the middle of a fuel
delivery system upgrade. Then Tommy shows up without the GMC, was it really the
Love Bugs keeping cars away tonight? or the cutting of the grass or that Honey
Do list on such a nice night. Anyway Ron rolled in in the Caddy, he just got
back from a 3500+ mile trip. Bert and "Ernie came in their Caddy, I guess the
problem they had healed. Bert came walking over without the walker, only 3 weeks
from the time he got the prosthetic. They are heading off Friday morning for a 2
week trip to Indiana.
Ed & Sherry came out in the 'Vette, they were
out of town last week. The Poinciana Kid rolled in a bit later. Jim had his GTO
out. Roy showed up a bit later. Don in the 2+2, Jack in his VW and George in the
Falcon were the last to arrive. Only 12 cars and 2 without cars but still a very
nice Cruise.
