The night started off very slow, Paul was the first to
arrive, then Louie in his '52 Ford followed by the "Poinciana Kid" in
his Camaro then Bill in the Blazer. Don had the 2+2 Mustang next to Tony
then Ron showed up in the Caddy. Roy had his '56 beside Ron.
Another "Snowbird" was spotted, Larry was out for the first time this
season, he said his latest Cruiser should be in town, hopefully for
tomorrow night's Cruise. It was pretty dark before any of the others
made their way in. Bob in his Chevelle, Jim in the GTO, The Wookie made
it back in the Mustang. Tony & Peggy Sue were in the Nova. Andy had his
Caddy, Steve & Charlie were in the Yellow deVille. Curt in the GMC. the
"Mustang Twins" in Paul's Mustang. George came a little later, as usual.
Then we saw Bert come in, the last to arrive in the Probe. Brian & Lisa
came out as spectators. He has been working on the Nova and in 14 weeks
or so, she will have the baby.
Who would have thought that 63 Degrees was cold, guess we
all have been in Florida too long. This temperature should have felt a
lot warmer. Linda wants to record people about reasons for not coming
out, "Too Hot", "Too Wet" now we have "Too Cold". Hmmm oh well just come
out when you can. It is always a good time at the "Square".
We will not Cruise Thanksgiving Week, Wednesday November
22nd or Thursday November 23rd. In observation of the Holiday.
The 19 cars grew the 50/50 to $38. Paul had the winning
ticket. Bert was glad he came out tonight, it was his Number, 54 that
was drawn for the $70 "Cruise-A-Matic", he donated $10 to this
newsletter.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home with
Cruiser #162, Tony & Peggy Sue Provost in their 1967 Chevy II Nova.
