"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida

In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

March 22nd

The day was nice and warm, when the Sun went down it started to get very chilly. At one time we had 26 cars and a few Cruisers that did not come out with cars. The Wookie pretended to drive in, said it was his elusive Buick with lots of "Clear Coat". Still not done! One day we may see it. H.L. and Linda brought their 35 Chevy to the "Square" for the fist time. Lar5ry Vliet rolled in with a 48 Chevy "Stylemaster" coupe. Now he has 2 Chevys and 2 Fords.

Tony & Marianne were the first to arrive right after Steve rolled in with his "Real Steel" 27 Roadster. All of the "Die Hards " were out, Ron A. Louie, Phil, Paul, Tommy. Bill had to work the game as did Al & Aggie. Dan & Liz had guests in from Michigan, they left a little early. The Robinson's came to join us with out their little "Mikey" car, good seeing you two out. Mike played his usual mix, with a few R&B numbers and a few old car commercials. Chris, our host and the staff at "Bites" sure know how to make us all feel at home, Thank You. The onset of the chilly weather had even a few of the regulars leaving early. "Mustang Mike" called the numbers about 10 minutes early.

The $45 50/50 went home with Bob Berube. Tonight's $30 "Cruise-A-Matic" would have gone home with Jim Rouse, he is usually out but not tonight. So next week we have $40! Ron Hood took home "Cruiser of the Week" with his '53 Chevy.

Here are a few photos.
