"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida

In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

March 15th

Well, no one paid attention to the fact that it was going to get cold. The Sun went down and the beautiful day that we had got down right chilly. This still did not stop more than 30 cars from making their way to the "Square". All of the "Die Hards" were with us. Richard Fortner made a rare appearance with his "New" 29 Ford Model A Pickup. I like to call it the original "Ranchero". Linda and I had "Elvira" our '60 Ranchero out for the first time since the tranny transplant. The Fosterer's made it to the Wednesday Nite get together, Steve & Carol Nelson, "Snowbirds" from Nova Scotia brought down their Yellow 440 "Cuda again this year.

Steve Clarke was celebrating his birthday with us tonight. Tony & Marianne made it to their first Wednesday since getting back from NY, I think they had this cold in their trunk! Tony & Sharon came walking in like they were driving their Ranchero, another 2 weeks before "Lucy" makes it back to them. Cheryl joined Steve for something to eat at Saint Cloud "Bites". Paul, Tommy and Bill had their regular spots to set, joined by Roger to harass the rest of us as usual. Larry Robinson sent word that he was back home, so we won't see him until next winter. Ron, Al and Richard were talking "A" technical issues. Jaime had his '67 cobra parked next to Dan's '53 Corvette. Neil & son Daniel made a brief appearance in the '62 Austin Healey, this is a short stay from England this spring. Big Jim brought out his Pro-Street Ranchero "Hot Flash", keeping with his "Rotation" of cruisers.

Tommy donated some Mugs with T-Shirts in them for door prizes. The 50/50 was $55.00, well, "Lucky Louie" had the winning ticket, again! He gave back $10 towards next weeks drawing. Herd to believe, Tommy's number was drawn again for the "Cruise-A-Matic", guess he was destined to be our next winner.

This weeks "Cruiser of the Week" went to Dan Zapico and his '53 Corvette.

Thank you to Robertson Homes and Saint Cloud "Bites" for inviting us into there parking lot once again.

Here are a few photos.
