"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida

In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

July 26th

As Linda and I headed for Magnolia Square some 14 miles form our home the weather was very sunny and HOT. The weatherman promised a 40% chance of afternoon showers. "Mustang Mike" had called me earlier and mentioned that he was working out of town and "Jalopy Jim" would be filling in. When we arrived "Poinciana Kid" was already waiting at Bites. Haven't seen him out in a while. Tom & Paul pulled in just a few minutes after we did. Then we saw "Ol' Yeller" piloted by Jack come into the parking lot. The Skies started to grow dark, reports over the radio that there was a lot of rain and lightening around us. Jim came in about 5:30. Ron followed in the DelRay. Don came out in his 2+2 Mustang,

From this point forward the weather deteriorated, at 6:45 the Cruise was called do to rain.

A few photos.
