It was a little cool but what a great nite
to come out to the "Square" 22 cars made it. Ron Hood came out in his
Pickup, the doctor still wants him in a modern car for a few weeks. Sure
was good to see him out. I said we would see him before Christmas! Phil
rode out with Louie in the '52 Ford. Larry & company were out in his '70
Chevy pickup. Roger was back in his Orange '48 Chevy Pickup, always good
to see him and that great truck. He had stories of all of the Car Shows
that he took in over the summer in North Carolina and surrounding areas.
Bob parked his Chevelle next to Rogers Pickup, boy that was
a lot of Orange. Jim had the GTO, George was out in the old Falcon.
"Big" John was in the GT350 Convert in Paul's parking spot, Tommy in his
GMC, Bill in the Blazer. Richard and Al were out in their Model A's.
Andy, Steve & Charlie and the Wookie were parked next to Jim's GTO. Ron
had the Caddy next to the DeSoto, Ed & Sherry in their "Vette, just to
name a few.
The "Crush" is now under new ownership and will be open on
Wednesday night from now on. Beer, Wine and Cigars with pool tables in
the back.
As always the Robertson family and "Bites" made us feel
right at home, Thank You!
The 50/50 of $50 was taken home by Andy Billitteri, Cruiser
#6. The $20 Cruise-A-Matic would have gone home in a Raspberry colored
Corvette if Kay, Cruiser #180 would have made it out.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home in a '48 Chevy Pickup Cruised in by
Roger Herndon, #124.
