We were running a little late and didn't
arrive to the "Square" until about 4:30, "Mustang Mike" was already set
up and waiting for the Cruisers, turns out everyone was a little later
than normal. Of course Tommy & Paul were the first to arrive, Bill
wasn't far behind. Tony had the "Vette out, Marlene was working. Ed &
Sherry arrived shortly after him.
Andy & the "Wookie" came in a little bit after Steve &
Charlie in the yellow Caddy. Bert & "Ernie" had the HHR, Bert was
telling me about what he wants to do to the Ford Probe that he is going
to set up for the Friday Nite Cruise. Should be a nice car. Don & Ron
were joined by Roy at the table in the front. Bob had friend Nick out
with him in the Camaro. Ed, Sarah & "Spark Plug" stopped by to say hi.
Ed is working on a '77 Olds Starfire and hoping to get back to the
Cruise-Ins soon. Steve & Cheryl stopped by for a bit in the "Daily
Driver", I helped him set a radio to the EDRN frequency, you can ask him
or Cheryl what the stands for. George & Mary finally made it out with
the Monte, on a night that it didn't rain! Tony & Sharon were ready to
sign any cruisers up for the "Run to Plant City" later this month.
Always a good time at "Magnolia Square" on beautiful
evening with friends and their old cars.
The 50/50 of $41 went home with Tommy, Cruiser #129. The
"Cruise-A-Matic" of $35 would have gone home with Cruiser #186 John
Eckenrode, that is if he would have come out. So next week it rolls over
to $45.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Andy & Mickey Billitteri, Cruiser
#6 in their '79 deVille.
Once again thank you to "Mustang Mike" for keeping the
Cruise-In going and the Robertson family for letting us be their guests.
Good luck to Judy in her run for the School Board district
5.
