What a fantastic day for a Cruise-In,
Florida a great place to be with a classic car. most of our "Snowbirds"
have gone back North. Several Cruisers must have spent their time
working around the house, we only had 29, plus the spirit of Lucy, cars
roll into the "Square". "Lucky" Louie, our "Cruiser of the Month" was
absent tonight, Phillip said he was helping his son move back to Central
Florida. The "Wookie" and the little Wookie were with us tonight. All of
the Regulars came out except that Paul was in North Carolina. Tony &
Marlene stopped by for a "Bite", Marlene is recovering quite well from
her recent back surgery.
It sure is funny to have daylight so long, this being the
first Cruise-In since DST kicked in. Tony & Sharon are still waiting for
"Lucy" to make her way home. They Cruised in on their shoes once again.
We have 7 cars confirmed for the trip to the 31st Indian
River Car Show/FACACA "Run to the River" on April 22nd.
Charles & Doug from the
Old Radio
Shop spent the evening with us, visiting with as many Cruisers as
they could. Remember, don't throw out that original radio, they can
repair it.
Once again a good night with great friends, talking about
these Old Cars we all Cruise-In. The spectator count was up a bit
tonight, I guess the word is getting out.
The every 2nd Saturday of the month Show at the AutoZone
has once again been canceled.
"Cruise-A-Matic" was drawn first, seems like Chris had
forgotten the Gift Certificates. The $40 would have went home with
John & Anita Applegate, well, if they would have come to the Cruise.
Awwwww So next week we have $50.
Tony & Sharon DeBlasio had the winning ticket for the $60
50/50. Just a bit more for the "Get Lucy Home" fund.
"Cruiser of the Week" this week went to
Kay Bridges Cruiser #180 with her 1970 Corvette "Razz".
Here are a few photos.
