The weatherman said it was going to rain,
Well, it didn't but that still stopped the Cruise-In from going over 30
cars tonight. Sherry came out even though Ed was out of town for some
schooling. Glad to have you stay to the end of the Cruise-In. Tony &
Sharon brought "Lucy" to the "Square" for the first time with her new
"Red Hat" as Phillip called it. Tony also picked up a more "Flamed"
accessories for her last night. I placed the Club Participation award in
Mike's trailer that we received form the IRFCS last week end.
Tony & Marianne had their Monte Carlo in it's place of
honor tonight. By the way Tony would like to sell that beauty and pick
up an older one so that he might join us all on Saturday Nite. Steve &
Charlie brought out the deVille, it is always nice to see what Steve has
done on this car from week to week. Most of our "Snowbirds" are gone
now, miss them already. Bob & Dar rolled in in their daily driver at the
close of the Cruise-In to enjoy a meal at "Bites". Hard for them to make
a Wednesday, I am sure we will see them tomorrow night. The "Wookie" had
out the Expedition, hope he didn't take the "Heart Breaker" to where the
Buick is. That is if the Buick even exisits....
The 50/50 of $45 went to Henry Horn, he donated $5 back to
the "Cruise-A-Matic". If Jeff Kough, Cruiser # 106, would have come out
he would have taken home $15, but he was not out. So next week it rolls
to $25.
"Cruiser
of the Week" went home with Tony & Marlene Baugh with "Cletus" their
1930 Chevrolet.
The "Duke" Davis Cruiser of the Month" award went home with
Paul & Pat Schwartz and their '58 DeSoto.
