September 14th
What a beautiful night! Linda and I spent the day
out at Ed and Evelyn's helping the CTG with our Monza Coupe. It is
almost ready to start "Cruising".
We were a little late getting to the Cruise tonight
as we decided to get 5 months of pollen and other impurities that now
possessed the exterior of the little coupe. When we arrived at about
6:00 there were already about a dozen or so cars in the lot. Tom and
Edna Adams pulled at the same time we did, they were in the 8 Door
Greenbrier.
Bob Berube and the West's were already in "Bites"
enjoying a meal as were Tony, Marianne, Louie, Philip and the Handy's"
back for a while from Scotland. Ron Hood and the Sanderson's also made
it out as did many others. Chris (our sponsor) made us once again feel
very welcome.
"Mustang Mike" announced that there will be a show
on the first Saturday of the month at the "AutoZone" in Saint Cloud.
More details to follow as will details about the upcoming "Reunion
Weekend" downtown Saint Cloud on the 8th of October.
Al and Aggie putted in a little late with their
Model A, always good see them out. Andy made it out with his Caddy for
the first time since the "Wookie" took him in for his surgery, good
seeing you out Andy.
Duke was not with us this week, he is in New Jersey
visiting his brother who has been ill.
The "Model A Olympics" are scheduled for Sunday the
18th at the R&S Ranch. Ron and Shirley have been very busy getting ready
for this event all week.
Tonight's 50/50 was $51, Philip Piazza took home
$41 of it after donating back $10 towards next weeks drawing. Thank You!
"Cruiser of the Week" sponsored this week by Sun
Lakes Realty went to Cruiser #43.
Paul Schwartz with his '58 DeSoto.
The "Cruise-A-Matic" of $40 would have went home
with Cruiser #26 Harold Goans, but they are not back in town yet....
Awww. So next week we will have $50 in the offering next week.
Here are a few photos.

Congratulations to all the winners and we'll see
you all next week!
