35 cars came to the latest venue, Ken and the whole gang at the
"Downtown" made us all very welcome. The weather couldn't have been much
better than it was for tonight! Many of the regular "Cruisers" were out
as well as a few new ones. This was Ralph and Ulla Stowell's last
Wednesday Nite Cruise before heading back to Maine.
A new game has been added tonight "Jeff The Golf Ball
Guy" has brought out a bunch of Photos of old cars and is now doing,
Guess the Year Make and Model, the prize is a dozen high quality Golf
Balls. Tonight's winner was Ron Hood. The car was a '48 Hudson Pickup.
This will be a regular feature in the Newsletter for this cruise that
will premier in April.
Jim and Craig, (That's right, the General Manager) or
better known as the "Dukes" even sang us a few tunes. It is always great
to have them perform for us.
All of the reports from the "Cruisers" we very good
about the first day of the "Downtown" being open. We all wish then well
and thank them for hosting this Cruise-In
Tonight's 50/50 o $52 was taken home by Bill Handy
Cruiser #12. The "Cruise-A-Matic" of $10 would have been taken home by
Mike Devine, Cruiser #73 if he would have made it out.
"Cruiser of the Week" chosen by "The Duke of New
Jersey" the general manager of the Club was taken home by Scott & Cindy
Chiavini with their '31 Roadster.
Congratulations to all of the winners!
