December14th
What a beautiful day, clear skies and
sunshine, it was a little cooler than it should have been but at least
it was dry. We made our way to the "Square" arriving just a few moments
behind the "Ice Man".
31 Cars plus at least 5 other Cruisers in
their Daily Drivers where with us tonight, The "Wookie" was still
without either one of his cars. Seems like the "Heartbreaker" still has
problems keeping her fluids in. Jerry & Judy Lane joined in tonight
debuting their '34 Ford Coupe with us. "Frenchy" from Owensboro, KY.
finally found us. He couldn't bring his Cruiser down this year. He is
still recovering from medical conditions. Good to see him out tonight.
This means that very soon we will have our annual invasion of
"Snowbirds" from Kentucky.
Ed & Evelyn took the "Can" around to all
in attendance, so they might donate to the "Kids" we have only tomorrow
night to "Fill it up". Thank you to all that dropped in a few dollars.
"Mustang Mike" played a mix of Holiday
songs along with some of our favorites. Bert & Ernie donated a few extra
door prizes in addition to the $10.00 Bites certificates.
As always, Chris Robertson made us all
feel very welcome and was around visiting with all and greeting new
Cruisers. This is always a good time with good friends. We will get
together the next two weeks as usual as the Thursday Nite Cruise-In
takes time off to give the entire parking lot to Wal-Mart for it's busy
season.
Tonight's 50/50 of $60 was won by Ron
Hood. He put $20 in the "Can" for the "Kids". The "Cruise-A-Matic" would
have been taken home by Dave Meal, again, if he would have made it out.
Awwwwwwwwwww. So next week $60 is in the offering.
This weeks "Cruiser of the Week" went to John & Pat, (Dustin too)
Hopkins with their '67 Mercury Capri.
Here are a few photos that I managed to
take.

Congratulations to the winners! See you
all tomorrow night!
