"Cruiser Appreciation Day"

Nearly 250 cars made it out tonight! The weatherman said there was only about a 10% chance of rain, well I guess Old Town was right in the middle of that percentage. The Skies were overcast all day and the rain came to us off and on all day long..... Hmmmm, Good job to have, you can be wrong and still get paid.....

At 8:30 there was a near record crowd of spectators to view this 15 year old tradition. These vintage cars are always a big hit, people from all over the world come to see this weekly spectacle.

All most all in attendance made it back to the stage for closing ceremonies, it was after all the night that the merchants gave out some great prizes.....

Lot's of extra discounts were enjoyed by the Cruisers tonight. We all dined on the specials at the A&W. Thank You!

Down in block 4 were many members of FACACA. 3 Corvairs, 2 Ranchero's and a Yellow Model A.  "Mustang Mike" even made it out today. Always good seeing him in that Mustang.

The set of tires tonight went home with Ron Bozarth and the $500 cash went to Johnny Lynn.

Congratulations to the winners and a big THANK YOU. to the sponsors and merchants of Old Town. Kudos to the "Cruise Staff" for making this event safe and fun...

On to the flag winners

Tonight's random drawing winners that and received the coveted "Old Town Checkered Flag" along with $25 cash, a case of Valvoline 20W50 Racing Oil and a drink from the Tropical Breeze The $50 Cruise-O-Matic was not won so next week it is up to $50. 1 of these 9 lucky winners receive $100 Old Town Cash instead of the regular prize booty.

Congratulations to the Checkered Flag Winners!
