The Biahia Shriners
Antique cars were lined along Brick Streets. There were about 9 Cobras
north of the stage but most of them did not arrive until the good light
was gone.
As I had mentioned at 3:00 when we arrived there were
only 45 Cruisers on "Trophy Row". The spectator count was very light, at
4:15 those of us that had met on Block 4 went to eat. We watched the
lined up to the gate go around the corner while we were eating. The
"Cruisers" kept rolling in all night right up to 8:00. The 15th
Anniversary Cruise is next week and the T-Shirts went on sale tonight.
The Arlington Heights High School, (from somewhere in
PA, sorry I missed the towns name) lead the Cruise in tonight. Just
behind them came the "Cruiser of the Month" then the "Shriners" then the
Cobra's followed by the rest of the 222 cars to the amazement of the
near record crowd lining "Deac Hundley Blvd.", that is right as the
Cruisers rolled in the crowd also got much larger.
Cruise with care see all back here next week.
