That weatherman
messed with us all week promising rain today. Well it seems that most
areas around us got a lot of rain but at Old Town just a little rain
twice this evening. This always keeps the spectators and the cars away.
Ron Simmons brought out his latest acquisition
tonight. A 1941 Packard 120 Coupe, this car is powered by a 460 Ford
with modern suspension front and rear. It is a great looking car as it
is, but we all know when Ron gets done with it, it will be a show
stopper.
Even with such a small crowd we did run into many
friends and a lot of nice cars as always. Ken and Wanda Tiggleman came
out, they have not "Cruised" a Saturday Nite since they sold the
Mustang, Friday Nites have been their night for Cruising with their '78
Indy Pace Car Corvette. Gregg and Emma Nelson also stopped by. Always
good seeing them.
Much anticipation in the air for the 15th anniversary
Cruise coming up on June 4th. Our old rancher will be in the line by
8:00AM the gates open at 9:00AM
Tomorrow FACACA has it's Picnic at Chilsom Park off
Narcoose Road just East of Saint Cloud.
Cruise with care see all back here next week.
