"Trophy Row" was the home for the "Wide Track Warriors", when we arrived
at 1;45, it was their annual event. We were directed to park next to
"Kids Town" until 4:00 then we would be moved up to "Trophy Row" in the
order we registered. "Deac Hundley
Blvd". was to be the home of the "10th Annual Thing" for "Flame"
the Mini Club later in the day. That big Ole LeFrance fire truck
was still occupying prime area on "Trophy Row".
At 4:00 Ron H. guided us out by registration number,
there were about 90 of us waiting to get to "Trophy Row",
this went real smooth except for a
Maverick #50 seemed to think that number came before #10 and jumped in
ahead of number #9. Always someone that doesn't understand, these
people should have known better, they are regulars.
By this time "Deac Hundley Blvd". was home to many of
the Minis for the "Flame" get together. We ended up parking behind the
Christmas Store and decided it was time to eat. Registration was closed
from 4:00 to 5:00, many Minis were allowed to come in during this time
and by 5:00 there were many filling the East Side of the Street.
While the "T-Birds" rocked the stage, Mike Singer was
live on "Old Town Radio" entertaining the thousands of spectators and
"Cruisers". At 8:30 the 100 plus Minis and the 263 Old Town Cruisers
once again "Wow'd" the masses lined up to view this 15 year old
tradition the "Saturday Nite Cruise®"
A big thanks! to the Cruise Staff and Mike T. the
"Cruisemaster" for another great night.
Many tours were given by "Ed the Corvair Tour Guide"
and the newly appointed "Mike and Carol the Hudson Tour Guides" behind
the "Black Hills Mineral Store".
