Osceola Heritage Park: 3 beautiful days for the "Cruisers of Old Town"
. Friday I was not with the group, the promoters did not require a lot
of cars on Friday, so the representation was light. Saturday during the
day 38 cars joined in the line up near highway 192, right in front of
the Exhibits building.
At 6:00 the cars that were 1972 or older caravanned
to Old Town with Mike T. leading with his red '47 Ford. When we arrived
at Old Town there were several hundred "Cruisers" already lining "Trophy
Row" and wrapped behind kids town.
"The
Dukes of Harmony" were on the corner starting at 7:00 and the "Belairs"
were on center stage for the enjoyment of the record crowd of "Cruisers"
and spectators. Mr. Bill and Miss Lisa were back on duty tonight, I did
not get time to talk with them, we arrived to late to make our regular
"rounds".
At 8;30, 313 cars WOW'd a record crowd of spectators
for the "Cruise" down "Deac Hundley Blvd"

Sunday At OHP
Bert Brown was all ready in place by
the time we arrived at OHP. Another beautiful spring day. Many of the
same cars that had been out on Friday and Saturday came out today along
with many others lined up in front of the Exhibit Hall.
40 cars in all were on display,
several “Easy Ups” were set up to provide some shade for us.
These little shows representing “Old
Town” are always a lot of fun! Sign up the next time one of these
opportunities come up and join on in.
Buckets of goodies were handed out to
all Cruisers at the end of each day.

See you all Wednesday Nite! At the "Downtown Restaurant and Night Club
in Saint Cloud, the new home of the Duke Davis' Wednesday Nite
Cruise-In.
