The day started off with lots of wind and rain. However by Noon the sun
came out and the day turned beautiful! A little windy but what great
weather for a Cruise. Old Town Radio rocked the streets during the day.
By the time we got there about 2:00 there were about 70 cars parked in
"Trophy Row" The Sun T's - The Florida Chapter of the National T-Bucket
Alliance had a few of those great cars parked right on the West Side of
"Deac Hundley Blvd". "Mr. Bill and Miss Lisa" we not at their
normal spot, seems as though there was a family emergency and they could
not make it today. Hope everything is OK. Marsha and Mike S took their
place and did the Registration.
The crowd of spectators had already grown to be quite large by the 4:00
registration break. 5:00 brought many Cruisers in that had been waiting
in line outside. The flow of cars remained steady all night long until
there were 228 ready to Cruise! "Eddie and the Cruisers" rocked the main
stage right up to Cruise time and then again until 11:00.
During the closing ceremonies, Cruise Master Mike T. mentioned the
upcoming 15th anniversary Cruise on June 4th as well as announcing all
of the Birthdays and Anniversaries. All 8 flag winners went home with a
smile and promised to "Cruise on In" again next week.
