Sunny bright day here
in Central Florida, only a cold front was moving in and it was very
windy all day, this and the fact that there were many Annual and special
car shows in other places that the "Cruiser" count only made it just
over 200 cars. After the Sun went down it got really cold, this did not
stop the "Die Hards" from hitting the bricks tonight right on time.
Our daughters, Leigh Anne and Susie stopped by with
some of the grandkids. That young gentleman trying to drive off with our
old Ranchero is Gabryel or almost 2 year old grandson, he loves cars
already!
The Parade was lead by the "Cruiser of the Month" and
the Miss Golden Triangle Pageant Winners (formerly the Miss Tavares
Pageant). They also helped with the drawings during the closing
ceremonies.
"The
Dukes of Harmony" were on the corner starting at 7:00 and "Electric
Red"
were on center stage for the enjoyment of the record crowd of "Cruisers"
and spectators. Miss Lisa had my list for me as I turned onto the brick
street. This was a good thing as my knee had been giving me trouble all
day and I was not sure if I could stay for the presentations. At 8:30,
over 200 cars WOW'd the crowd of spectators
for the "Cruise" down "Deac Hundley Blvd"
On to the Flag Winners....
Tonight's random drawing winners that and received the coveted "Old Town Checkered Flag"

Congratulations to the Checkered Flag Winners!
