September 15th
What a great night for a Cruise! "The Dukes" sang a
few numbers for us. They were out promoting their New CD. The will be
out on the corner by the A&W Friday and Saturday Night's (weather
permitting, unless there is another engagement) you can always check out
the new website at
www.dukesoldies.com for their calendar.
Lots of cars that we have not seen in wile rolled
into the lot. A little later than normal but it sure was nice to see
them all come out on such a great night. Dirty Mike made it down with
his '61 Falcon, Pro Street Ranchero and he had a CD that "Bill Cole
Group" just cut last week, Mike played a tune from it. Always good
seeing and hearing from Dirty Mike.
Several Corvairs made it out tonight as well, been
a while since "Corvairville" had that many cars in it. Welcome back to
Tom and Edna Adams. There were just so many out tonight that it is hard
to mention them all.
October 27th will be our Halloween Cruise. Bring
candy for the Trick or Treater's. We hope to have the kids from the
children's home out. prizes for best costume and for the best decorated
car. A Bake Sale will also take place. Sharon DeBlaisio will char this
event. Mike will have sign up sheet in trailer or see Sharon to see what
she needs to have done.
More than 80 cars were in attendance during the
drawings. $117 from the 50/50 went to Randy (guest cruiser with a '53
Ford F100) he should be joining in with us next week as a regular.
The trivia question was answered by Bob Negro,
Cruiser #510, guess it really was is night, he was also chosen as
"Cruiser of the Week" with his Red Chevy powered '36 Ford Humpback.
Gary Vliet stood in for Duke Davis as he is still
in NJ visiting his brother.
Here are a few photos.

Congratulations to all the winners and we'll see
you at Old Town this Saturday nite.
