The weather kept many of the Cruisers away tonight, with the spotty
showers all over central Florida it was hard to say where it would rain
next. This didn't stop nearly 40 cruisers from making their way to the
parking lot. Roan & Renee once again were let down by the DelRay, Ron
thinks they might have that problem figured out this time. The "Wookie"
came late and left the Mustang at home. The "Ice Man" made a rare
Thursday Nite appearance tonight with his '89 Camaro. Louie had to take
the '52 Ford in for some generator work but he was with us tonight as
well. Ed & Evelyn were "Mudded In" with all the rain we have been
having this last two weeks. Bob's '36 Humpback Ford wasn't with him
tonight, seems like the 4 pieces of the one valve spring should have
only been a 2 part assembly.
Tom & Edna Adams brought out the Greenbrier tonight,
always good seeing them. Steve & Cheryl parked their Yellow Model A
across form them. Bill Lamping has rejoined us after a 4 year absence.
Good having him back at a Cruise-In. He parked that '72 Chrysler Newport
in Mopar Row with Paul and Tommy. We bid Bill & Pat Handy a bon Voyage
as they are headed back to Scotland early and will now only be "Seasonal
Visitors" in the future.
With the Holiday Season quickly approaching us and
with next weeks Halloween Cruise, it is time to get out the Schedule for
November and December. Here are the dates that we will not Cruise:
November, 24th
December, 22nd
December 29th
The November date is for the observance of Thanksgiving Day. The 2
December dates are to keep the parking lot open for the busy holiday
shopping in agreement with Wal-Mart. However the Wednesday Nite
Cruise-In at Magnolia Square will continue through these dates. The 2006
schedule starts on January, 5th, 2006.
Mike also announced that we are looking for a
committee of 5 to put together "Activities" for special Cruise-In's
next year. Please let him know if you are interested.
The Kids from the Osceola Children's Home and
Youth Center will be joining us on the 27th for trick or treating.
Mike also urged cruisers to tell neighbors to bring out any youngsters
that would like to get a jump start on the Holiday Goodies. The proceeds
of the bake sale will be going straight to the kids from the Shelter.
The "Die Hards", the "New Cruisers" and spectators
that came out tonight and were all in the running for the $88.00
50/50 and some great prizes offered up by our sponsors. Gary & Chris,
our regular shoppers picked out some great ones and even got us that
discount from Wal-Mart.
"Cruiser of the Week" went to Tony & Sharon DeBlasio
(#726) with their Black over Red 1969 Ranchero.
Ed "Wookie" Guglich (#529) winner of the 50/50
donated $20 back to next weeks Cruise-In. Bill K. knew the answer to
this weeks Trivia Question and took home the $10.00 Beef O' Brady's gift
certificate.
The $250 "Cruise-A-Matic" would have gone home with
Cruiser # 539 Mike Stukonis if he would have come out tonight....
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW so next week it rolls up to $275.
Here are a few photos.

Congratulations to the winners. See you at Old Town
Saturday Nite! Then don't forget to join us Wednesday Nite at "Magnolia
Square" and than back here next Thursday.
