November 3rd
This is the time of the year that we all wait for,
Dry, Cool and very pleasant weather. We didn't have any new "Snowbird"
spottings to report. We did hear that Jim Crawford had a bit of a mishap
when cleaning out the gutters earlier this week, hope you are feeling
better and join in with us next week.
The sunshine leaves us quite early now that we are
on standard time so I don't get that many photos of the cars that come
out.
Big John, last weeks "Cruiser of the Week", put his
"Juanita" costume on to receive the Checkered Flag at Old Town last
Saturday Nite, I was not there to get a photo. That must have been a
sight! The Corvette came out in place of his '59 Chevy that he drove
last week.
Kissimmee Air Boats started to give us a few free
rides to add to our prize booty. Thank You. Renee Adamson has brought
out a "Cruiser" coat that will sell for $40. See her at any cruise to
order.
"Mustang Mike" will be jetting to Wisconsin for his
Nephews wedding on Friday, he will be back for next weeks Cruise-In.
Bert & "Ernie" head out Saturday for trip to Indiana, we'll see them
back on the 15th or so. Safe travels.
Elaine brought out her Red '62 Triumph TR4 tonight,
for the first time on a Thursday. It is always good to see them when
they are in town from the UK.
I had double duty tonight as Linda was giving
knitting lessons to Sharon and any one else that stopped by. Got to get
those winter woollies finished!
With 70 cars the 50/50 was $122 tonight, this will
come in real handy for "Ernie" for that trip they are leaving on. She
had the lucky ticket.
Steve McCullough had the correct answer to the
trivia question tonight so he won the $10 Beef O'Bradys gift
certificate.
Louie Piazza, Cruiser #452 and his '52 Ford took
home "Cruiser of the Week"
Here are a few photos

Congratulations to the winners! See you next week!
